I fell in love with this movie the first time I saw it back in 2002 with my best friends. The story is just captivating and I had a huge crush on Shane West at the time and I always loved Mandy Moore’s vocals. I really think this song made the movie, plus it also helps that Nicholas Sparks, one of my favourite authors wrote the story and whoever wrote the screenplay ALMOST got it on point. I think Mandy Moore was one of many singers who broke out into the movie world, but she actually did an amazing job and didn’t crash & burn like Mariah lol!
